Plans for a bypass designed to relieve congestion at a major intersection on Brisbane’s north side will go on display this weekend.
Plans for the $26 million Everton Park Link Road project will be on display this Saturday.
The road will link Stafford Rd, just east of the Masters building, to South Pine Rd near Kedron Brook.
Main Road Minister Mark Bailey the new road would reduce congestion at the intersection of Stafford Rd and South Pine Rd.
“The design is considering the removal of right turns from South Pine Rd into Stafford Rd during morning peak hours, providing extra ‘green time’ for other movements at the intersection,” Mr Bailey said.
“This will also improve active transport options with connections to the Kedron Brook Bikeway and new pedestrian facilities ensuring all modes of transport are benefiting from this project.
